Kathleen Rice, CPA LLC
Kathleen graduated from the College of Charleston in 1997 with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She has been working in public accounting since 1999 and became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2004. She has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants since 2004. In 2011, she received the Personal Financial Specialist credential from the AICPA. She is a past member of the Estate Planning Council of Charleston. She was founding member of Mental Health HEROES, a non profit organization that provides support to citizens with mental illness in Charleston and Dorchester Counties and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Athletic Association at her son’s school . In addition to individual income tax compliance and planning, Kathleen focuses her emphasis on small business management and estate and trust income taxation and planning.
Kathleen, a Charleston native, resides in James Island with her husband, son and four pets.

Jennifer Smathers
A native to Charleston, Jennifer attended Newberry College before settling down with her husband. They spent a year in Beaufort, SC and another year Pittsburgh, PA before returning home. She was a stay at home mom for ten years before going back to work at a local elementary school till 2017. Jennifer resides in South Windermere with her husband and three children.
